Job Title: Cyber Security - Consulting Manager
Description:
As part of our EY-Cyber Security team in Technology Consulting, you'll contribute technically to Cyber Security client engagements and internal projects. You will actively establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships.
The opportunity:
We're seeking a Manager with deep technical understanding of Cybersecurity governance, IT security regulatory requirements across the US, Europe, and other regions. You will build and execute Cybersecurity strategies for large Fortune 500 clients across different industry sectors. Knowledge in service competitor landscape, pricing methodologies, brand positioning, and team management will be an excellent addition. You will ensure that work meets EY's quality standards and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer. As an influential team member, you'll foster a positive learning culture, coach junior team members, and assist in their development.
Your key responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and implement strategic go-to-market plans in collaboration with local EY member firms in the Americas, EMEIA, and APAC regions.
- Support and drive the overall growth strategy for the Cybersecurity practice as part of the leadership team.
- Identify and initiate the development of market differentiators, including new products, solutions, and automation.
- Develop and implement branding and marketing strategies, including solution brochures, sales videos, thought leadership, and community engagement.
- Provide thought leadership for Cyber Strategy, Risk, Compliance, and Resilience offerings for clients.
- Manage end-to-end sales opportunity qualifications and pursuits, including drafting RFP responses, presenting proposals during Orals, and drafting Statements of Work (SoW).
- Enhance collaborations across team members working from different geographical locations.
- Manage key performance indicators for a large delivery team operating across different continents.
Skills and attributes for success:
- Experience in building strong Cybersecurity delivery teams and generating business, with a thorough understanding of the consulting sales cycle.
- Proven track record in establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in generating business organically and through developing new relationships, service offerings, and markets.
- Proven ability to build and manage high-performing Cybersecurity delivery teams for Cyber Strategy, Risk, Compliance, and Resilience.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in developing forward-looking Cybersecurity strategies for large enterprises.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in developing key performance indicators for enterprise risk programs.
- Thought leader who understands and can define the Cybersecurity needs of clients towards 2030 and beyond.
- Expert in managing large enterprise resiliency programs and effectively handling incidents.
- Experience leading large teams for IT regulation audits, maturity assessments, and readiness assessments.
- Experience managing teams across geo-locations and enhancing delivery quality.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- At least 12 years of overall experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity Strategy, Risk, Compliance, and Resilience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- MBA (preferred).
