The Opportunity:
Executive-National-Assurance-ASU - FAAS - Financial & Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS)

1) Ensuring their accounts comply with the requisite audit standards
2) Providing a robust and clear perspective to audit committees
3) Providing critical information for stakeholders
Our Service Offerings include External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO and other public offering, Corporate Treasury - IFRS 9 accounting & implementation support, etc.
Your key responsibilities:
- Carry out operational, financial, process and systems audits designed to review and appraise activities, systems, and controls.
- Identify accounting and auditing issues; discuss with audit in-charge to resolve issues.
- Execute substantive testing of appliances in accordance with the audit plan and appropriately document all work performed.
- Identify improvements to control systems and procedures.
- Present audit reports clearly highlighting key audit recommendations to management.
- Prepare and maintain statutory books of accounts, audit, reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable, finalization of accounts.
- Assist seniors in reviewing and checking financial statements, preparation of the audit report, management comment letter, and management representation letter.
Skills and attributes for success:
- Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
- Prior experience handling statutory audit assignments.
- Ability to prioritize work on multiple assignments and manage ambiguity.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- Clarity of thoughts and assertiveness.
- Effectiveness and creativity in written expression—logical, readable, and concise.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Qualification:
- BE/ B.Tech, MSC in Computer Science/Statistics, or M.C.A
Experience:
- 3 - 6 years of relevant experience
