Job Role: Consultant
The Opportunity:
This is a client-facing role in a rapidly growing practice, where you'll build client relationships with key stakeholders, including management executives for some of the most globally recognized brands. It's the perfect place to gain a deeper understanding of complex business transactions while recommending solutions to some of the most pressing business challenges and process inefficiencies. You will team with our performance improvement professionals on multidisciplinary engagements, helping major global clients transform and sustain business performance. The team is focused on leveraging emerging technologies like Robotics, AI, and Advanced Analytics to enhance various Internal Audit and internal control solutions being provided to the client and actively work on building multiple tools and assets for efficient and effective client delivery. Our clients look for EY's expertise across advisory solutions, specifically for engagements related to Internal Audit, Process compliance and reviews, SOX 404, Developing Standard Operating Procedure manuals, and Enterprise Risk Management.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Client Management
- Understand the client's business and related industry issues/trends.
- Develop strong working relationships with client and onshore client teams.
- Maintain excellent rapport and proactive communication with the client.
Market Leadership
- Participate and support business development initiatives.
- Support multiple innovation initiatives to enhance existing solutions leveraging emerging technologies like Robotics, AI, and Advanced Analytics.
- Support the practice in developing thought leadership content and other innovation initiatives from time to time.
Quality Delivery
- Conduct risk assessments of assigned departments or functional areas within established timelines.
- Establish risk-based audit programs.
- Determine the scope of review in conjunction with the Audit Manager.
- Review the suitability of internal control design.
- Conduct audit testing of specified areas and identify reportable issues and dimensions of risk.
- Verbally communicate findings to senior management and draft comprehensive and complete reports of audit areas.
- Perform assessments of compliance programs, policies, and procedures based on regulatory expectations.
- Coordinate with senior management in the audit, compliance, and technology groups.
- Communicate audit findings to management and identify opportunities for improvement in the design and effectiveness of key controls.
- Document policies and procedures.
- Meet quality guidelines within the established turnaround time (or allotted budget) for assigned requests.
- Handle workload without compromising standards.
- Support a knowledge management culture within the Professional Services Organization.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, enabling them to meet performance goals and successfully grow their careers.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with risk management strategies, plans, and activities of the firm.
- Manage engagement budgets and support supervisors in developing marketing material, business proposals, and new solution/methodology development.
- Support the engagement manager in planning and scheduling optimum staff levels for engagements.
To Qualify You Must Have:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience serving in a similar role, with Big 4 experience preferred.
- Graduated in Accounting/Business from a reputed university.
- Master's in Business / Chartered Accountancy / ACCA / CPA.
- CIA or other similar certifications preferred.
- Proficient in MS-Office Suite and understanding of data analytics tools.
- Globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations.
- Technical experience in Finance, Operations, or Regulatory Compliance.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate discussions.
- Essential problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize deliverables effectively to achieve optimum results.
