The opportunity: Manager - CHS - Assurance - ASU - Audit - Audit Services - Pune
CHS:
CHS consists of Consumer Products and Healthcare sectors. Consumer products largely entail Retail and Agri-business, meeting the demands of consumers globally by providing everything from agricultural crops to food, clothes, durables, and retail experiences. We help clients capture new sources of profitable growth, rethinking how and where they bring value to consumers.
The Health Sciences & Wellness architecture brings together a worldwide network of professionals to build data-centric approaches to customer engagement and improved outcomes. Participants in this sector must rethink their business practices, including capital strategy, partnering, and the creation of patient-centric operating models.
ASU - Audit - Audit Services:
Assurance aims to inspire confidence and trust to enable a complex world to work by promoting transparency, supporting investor confidence and economic growth, and fostering talent to provide future business leaders. Our Service Offerings include External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO and other public offerings, Corporate Treasury - IFRS 9 accounting & implementation support, etc.
Your key responsibilities:
- Networking: Create and manage independent relationships with clients' senior management.
- Good Commercial Acumen: Provide perspective on trends and emerging practices related to client's operations.
- Client Management: Lead role in execution of client service and serve as a Trusted Business Advisor.
- Business Development: Lead preparation of high-quality proposals including developing the fees/entry strategy.
- Profitability Contribution: Generate additional work from existing clients and support in selling new client proposals.
- Project and Process Management: Balance multiple priorities considering various factors.
- Technical Competence & Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate good technical knowledge and the ability to develop well-reasoned arguments on client issues.
- Risk Management: Provide guidance on quality or risk management issues.
- Knowledge Management: Contribute to knowledge sharing efforts and continuously improve processes.
- Leadership & Team Work: Promote a high-performance climate and good understanding of team goals.
- Counseling and People Development: Provide guidance on the development of technical, interpersonal, and soft skills.
- Professional Demeanor: Demonstrate appropriate conduct and professionalism.
Skills and attributes:
Qualification:
- Handled statutory audit assignments earlier.
- Strong knowledge of auditing & accounting standards.
- Strong exposure in auditing manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical industries, etc.
- Good presentation skills and the ability to respond promptly.
- Ability to prioritize work on multiple assignments & manage ambiguity.
- Team player with a proactive & result-oriented approach.
Experience:
5 to 6 years of post-qualification experience with either a mid or top-tier accounting firm, focused on external or statutory audit-related matters, or an MNC or a large domestic Indian company, preferably within a shared services environment.
