Position: Consultant / Sr. Consultant - Finance Transformation
Position Overview:
As part of our EY - Finance Consulting Team, you will help clients in their Business Transition assignments from a functional perspective. This includes working alongside the clientele to set up frameworks for Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services Centres (SSC). This role demands working knowledge of Performance Improvement initiatives to identify potential opportunities and drive them. You will conduct finance process assessments, deep dive into and analyze pain areas, and come up with solutions. The client base spans across various industries and countries.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensure all bank accounts and new entities in SAP are properly set up and configured for Treasury Operations via SAP / SWIFT / Bloomberg / Online banking workflows.
- Lead, supervise, and monitor the regular upkeep and maintenance of Bank and Treasury-related General Ledger master data in SAP.
- Manage cash and inter-bank transfers, cash call payment requests, Treasury transactions, fundings, and deal settlements, ensuring all are planned, properly approved, and timely executed.
- Lead Treasury Back Office Operations including bank statement uploads into SAP, bank reconciliations, clearing of outstanding items, and dashboard KPIs reporting.
- Ensure compliance requirements for Group Treasury banking transactions and investments based on approved policies and procedures.
- Coordinate business continuity for Group Treasury to avoid losses due to unforeseen events.
- Develop appropriate processes and coordinate between various business process owners to identify, monitor, report, and mitigate risks impacting reputation.
Decision Making Authority:
- Responsible for directing and organizing the Treasury Back Office operation team.
- Engage in Group Treasury automation and operational process enhancements to minimize operational risks.
- Review and endorse high-value payment requests prior to management approval in line with MoA.
- Inaccuracies in judgment could result in substantial financial losses and/or adversely affect working relationships.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, business, accounting, or globally accepted professional qualifications like CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA, or ACMA.
- At least 12 years of experience in a medium to large organization with full exposure to SAP TRM, SWIFT, Bloomberg, and API.
- Experience in a similar capacity in the oil and gas industry would be an advantage.
- Expert knowledge in SAP, Treasury Operations, Settlements, and Accounting.
- Excellent people management, leadership, and coaching skills.
