Position: Senior Business Analyst (BCM)
Responsibilities:
- Work as a senior on multiple clients as a part of the regulatory reporting implementation team.
- Facilitate and encourage necessary conversations between the stakeholders (client and/or onshore team) to determine requirements.
- Work independently with minimum supervision from the Onshore project team/client.
- Provide technical guidance to the team as well as the client as needed.
- Be involved in project management as needed.
- Mentor, train, and inspire staff to meet the project objectives.
- Proactively develop and impart training on new onboarded or upcoming initiatives for team members.
- Identify process improvement areas and bring in the culture of automation.
Requirements:
- 4 - 7 years of experience with at least 2 - 3 years of senior experience in the BCM industry.
- Strong experience in finance or regulatory projects.
- Proven experience as a business analyst on regulatory and capital reporting.
- Experience in requirements documentation and all stages of project life cycle including analysis, design, build and test support, and implementation.
- Knowledgeable and hands-on experience working on US regulatory reports namely: FRY 9C, FRY 15, FRY 14Q, 2052a, Call Reports (FFIEC 031, FFIEC 051, etc).
- Experience with state money transmission license regulatory reporting is a strong plus.
- Understanding of financial statements like 10K/10Q.
- Experience in understanding and interpreting changes to US regulatory reports.
- Experience in writing test cases, test scripts, and execution during the testing phase.
- Good understanding of Regulatory Reporting financial products (Loans, Deposits, etc).
- Strong SQL knowledge, advanced Excel, and analytical skills.
- Exposure to analytics and reporting tools like Axiom, Vermeg, OneSumX, different finance systems, and databases.
- Experience with ETL tools, BI tools, JIRA, Confluence is a plus.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter with the ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment.
