Job Title: Manager - Assurance - Financial Accounting and Advisory Services (FAAS)

The Opportunity:

The FAAS team assists EY's advisory clients in solving their complex accounting and financial reporting issues in Indian GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP, or Ind-AS. The FAAS team provides solutions through a senior team with strong financial reporting skills, in-depth sector knowledge, and an advisory mindset. Our assignments are project-based, focusing on problem-solving, often involving multi-disciplinary teams including professionals from Transaction Support, Advisory, Valuations, or Tax teams. At the manager level, you will be responsible for an account portfolio and developing further opportunities to support our clients. The role offers opportunities for international exposure and career growth.

FAAS Solutions Include:

- GAAP conversions

- Consolidation implementation & accounting manuals

- Transaction support and financial reporting

- Tax and tax reporting

- IPO preparedness

- IFRS training, ad-hoc support, and on-call services

Responsibilities:

- Manage/execute FAAS projects, develop and implement solutions

- Identify and develop business opportunities; manage accounts

- Coach junior team members and encourage technical excellence

- Integrate with other EY service lines on multi-disciplinary projects

- Contribute to thought leadership and participate in marketing activities

Qualifications:

- Qualified CA (or equivalent e.g., CPA/ICAEW/ACCA)

- Good academic record (1st/2nd time passes for ICAI or equivalent)

- Strong IGAAP, IFRS, and/or US GAAP financial reporting experience

- Minimum of 6 years of relevant post-qualification experience

- Ability to explain complex accounting and financial reporting issues simply

- Business development skills and aptitude

- Specific financial reporting experience in transactions, IPO preparation, MNC consolidations, tax planning, technical training, and other specified topics

- Strong project management skills

- Excellent communication skills
