CHS consists of Consumer Products and Healthcare sectors. Consumer products largely entail Retail and Agri-business. Companies in this sector meet the demands of consumers around the world every day, providing everything from agricultural crops to food, clothes, durables, and retail experiences. We help clients capture new sources of profitable growth, rethinking how and where they bring value to consumers, today and into the future.

The Health Sciences & Wellness architecture brings together a worldwide network of professionals to build data-centric approaches to customer engagement and improved outcomes. To remain relevant in today's digitally focused, data-infused ecosystem, all participants in the sector must rethink their business practices, including capital strategy, partnering, and the creation of patient-centric operating models.

ASU - Audit - Audit Services:

Assurance's purpose is to inspire confidence and trust to enable a complex world to work. We do so by protecting and serving the public interest, promoting transparency, supporting investor confidence and economic growth, and fostering talent to provide future business leaders. We help clients by:

1) Ensuring their accounts comply with the requisite audit standards

2) Providing a robust and clear perspective to audit committees

3) Providing critical information for stakeholders

Our Service Offerings include External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO and other public offerings, Corporate Treasury - IFRS 9 accounting & implementation support, etc.

Your key responsibilities:

- Networking: Create and manage good independent relationships with clients' senior management.

- Good Commercial Acumen: Provide a perspective to clients on trends and emerging practices in the local and global market in relation to the client's operations.

- Client Management: Lead role in the execution of client service, begin to serve as a Trusted Business Advisor, use in-depth knowledge of the client to anticipate and address complex issues.

- Business Development: Lead preparation of high-quality proposals including developing the fees/entry strategy.

- Contribute to the profitability of the firm: Generate additional work from existing clients and support in selling new client proposals.

- Lead and coordinate the planning and management of assignments with guidance from the partner.

- Manage projects and processes: Balance multiple priorities by considering risk, importance, level of urgency, political impacts, and other linkages.

- Technical competence & strategic thinking: Demonstrate a good level of technical knowledge and judgement and have the ability to develop well-reasoned and researched arguments on client issues; demonstrate expertise in auditing telecom companies.

- Risk management: Provide pertinent guidance and advice to colleagues on quality or risk management issues, enable colleagues to address risk and quality issues by providing advice based on experience.

- Knowledge management: Contribute strongly to knowledge sharing efforts, review and continually improve processes so that the team and the firm capture and leverage knowledge.

- Leadership & Teamwork: Create a climate of high performance in the team, promote a good understanding of team goals and contribution.

- Counseling and people development: Proactively provide guidance on the development of technical, interpersonal, and soft skills to improve the competence of team members and counselees.

- Exhibit professional demeanor: Look and sound professional, demonstrate appropriate conduct.

Skills and attributes:

- Should have handled statutory audit assignments earlier.

- Must have strong knowledge of auditing & accounting standards.

- Strong exposure in auditing manufacturing, retail, and pharmaceutical industries, etc.

- Good presentation skills and the ability to respond promptly.

- Ability to prioritize work on multiple assignments & manage ambiguity.

- Should be a team player with a proactive & result-oriented approach.

Qualification:

- 5 to 6 years of post-qualification experience with either a mid or top-tier accounting firm, focused on external or statutory audit-related matters, or an MNC or a large domestic Indian company, preferably within a shared services environment.
