This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Finance function. This position will report to Senior Manager - FP&AThe responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Key areas of responsibilityPrepare, analyze, and communicate accurate and timely monthly financial reports including business unit results and regional performance.Compile PowerPoint presentations for Senior Management monthly business review meetings.Support the leadership to provide them with the analytics they need to run their business including: 1) product profitability, 2) costing, and 3) operating expense analysis.Prepare and communicate monthly financial results for management reporting.Be involved in cost analysis, business unit analysis, and lend insights.Be available to participate in any ad hoc requests or new projects from functional and business leadership.Actively contribute to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing on goals and focusing on performance and safetyImprove the organization capacity and capabilities through building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent and utilizing positive communications and influence with others.In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing companyMBA with a desired concentration in Finance or AccountingExcellent written/verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.Ability to work independently and within a team structure in a dynamic and tight deadline-driven environment.Strong technical and operational systems / accounting backgroundFamiliarity with US GAAPFamiliarity with SAP, BW.Ability to learn and use financial software and applications for the extraction and analysis of informationKnowledge and skilled use of Excel. Be based in Hyderabad, India and the ability to travel (less than 10%)The candidate must demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, adaptability and the ability to handle multiple projects.Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times.The ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the business, making complex decisions and creating the new and different.In more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
