About The Client:

A multinational technology and e-commerce company based in the United States, recognized as one of the world's largest online retailers. The company is a major player in cloud computing through its cloud services division and has expanded into areas such as streaming services, artificial intelligence, and smart devices.

Essential Job Functions:

- Maintain and support Local Pack ecosystem for monthly hard close, including excel, VBA, Python-based execution models and monitor system failure

- Monitor customer's ad-hoc SIM tickets and provide resolutions to issues raised for Local Pack ecosystem

- Perform Pre-hard close checks to have the Local Packs ready for customers' use for each hard close

- Contribute to small-medium sized excel modeling projects

Qualifications:

- 2-4 years of experience in US/Foreign Tax Provision or Compliance

- Advanced Excel Skills

- Experience in using analytical/visualization tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, and QuickSight

- Experience in Excel VBA (Macro), Alteryx, SQL, or Python is preferred, but not required

- US or Foreign Direct Tax Compliance or Tax Provision (Any other tax-related experience can be reviewed)

- Advanced excel skills - Ability to create excel models/automation (querying, generate and understand complex formulas, debug)

- Visualization skills (Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI)

Skills:

- Major experience in direct taxation with strong Excel skills

- Knowledge of VBA/Python is advantageous

- Dashboarding skills like Quick sight/Tableau/Power BI are highly preferred

- Excellent communication skills as this role involves working with the US team

- 60% taxation and 40% technology experience

Shift:

1pm-11pm - cab provided
