Role reports to Finance Director – Supply Chain

Location: Mumbai

Job Description:

Supply Chain Assistant Finance Manager for Consumer India business to be based out of India Mulund plant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Partner for India Manufacturing Team (MAKE) and managing site spend for India Operations - generating insights and analytical decision support for use in providing counsel, validating cost improvement initiatives, risk management, and decision-making recommendations.

- Single point of contact for managing intercompany cross charges, managing India hosting model for global teams operating from the sites.

- Support the costing team during the annual Standard Costing Cycle to ensure correct cost are rolled in and support in highlighting the variance vs previous year, key drivers, and risk and opportunity.

- Any other special projects for which regional support may also be required.

Required Qualifications:

- 6-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a proven track record of success.

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in financial software and systems.

- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Desired Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (preferably 1st attempt) with 6-7 years post-qualification experience.

- Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication, and business partnering skills.

- Ability to work in a dynamic, matrix-style, complex environment.

- Independent, self-starter attitude.

- Advanced knowledge of technical accounting and related business applications.

- Strong knowledge/background in technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition, business acquisitions, and divestitures, licensing arrangements and R&D accounting, business restructuring, financial instruments, currency matters, and hedging transactions, PP&E accounting, and expense versus prepaid accounting.

- Experience with accounting systems such as SAP, OneStream, and Blackline.

- Technical financial compliance experience.
