Job DescriptionAs our new Interim Regional CFO you'll be providing financial leadership to the Scott Bader Middle East, India, China, Australia and South East Asian teams. You will continually raise the quality and focus of financial reporting, business performance and optimise the liquidity position. You'll develop and lead a high-quality team that continually provides a high level of service to fellow colleagues, customers, suppliers and all other stakeholders. Some of your key responsibilities: You'll manage the preparation for the annual financial audit for all regional Entities, act as the key contact and ensure all necessary supporting information is available. You will ensure the filing of all statutory accounts; tax returns and other required tax and statistical information is completed accurately and on time. You'll develop and maintain robust internal control procedures in line with Group and Local policies, ensure appropriate insurances as determined at a group level are in place to safeguard the assets of company. You will own and manage the quarterly forecast and budget process for the Scott Bader Group. Ensure the management and communication of timetables, processes and templates for completion and oversee the completion of data submissions. You'll Review the consolidation and support the Group CFO in the completion of the forecast and budget packs for review and submission to the GLT and Group Board. What do I need to be successful in this role? We would love for you to have experience in managing & supervising a financial accounting department preferably in a regional manufacturing environment. A recognised formal accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA/CS). Commercial experience including compilation of project plans, JV'S and/or investment opportunities would be an advantage. Knowledge of shipping / banking / customs/ transfer pricing formalities highly desirable. An enquiring mind with a drive to succeed, deliver excellence and effectively manage change.
