Job Description

Title: Associate Professor / Assistant Professor

Associate Professor Qualifying Criteria:

1. The candidate should hold a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade) in the relevant discipline.

- Minimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

- Minimum Research Score of 75.

2. Experience Requirements:

- A minimum of 8 years of full-time experience in teaching/research/industry, with at least 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience.

OR

- If candidate is from industry, the following are essential:

- Ph.D. Degree with First Class in relevant discipline

OR

- Ph.D. Degree with First Class in a two-year full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by AICTE / UGC.

3. The candidate should possess professional work experience at a senior managerial level in a large organization/MNC/Conglomerate that can be recognized at a national/international level as equivalent to a Ph.D. and eight years of managerial experience.

4. Published work of high quality with evidence of active engagement in research, which could include books, research periodicals, Ph.D. guidance, consultancy projects, and patents filed.

Assistant Professor Qualifying Criteria:

1. Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant discipline from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

2. Besides the above qualifications, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or a similar accredited test like SLET/SET.

OR

- Candidates awarded a Ph.D. Degree according to UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016, can be exempt from NET/SLET/SET.

3. Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

4. Additional desirable qualifications:

- Ph.D. is preferred with 2 years of entry-level experience (not mandatory).

- Presentation of at least two papers based on Ph.D. work in UGC/ICSSR/CSIR-supported conferences/seminars.

Published work may include books, research periodicals, Ph.D. guidance, consultancy projects, and patents filed.

Pay Scales:

As per UGC guidelines; however, pay will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
