Job Title: Professor / Associate Professor / Asst. Professor
Reports to: Director- Academics
Location: Mumbai
Job Purpose:
The fundamental role of a faculty position is to actively contribute to the academic mission of the institution by engaging in teaching, research, and service. The incumbent will be tasked with formulating and executing a comprehensive educational teaching plan in alignment with the school's specifications. Responsibilities encompass conducting classes, offering academic guidance and counseling to students, actively participating in departmental committees, and consistently enhancing the curriculum through assessment, applied research, scholarly activities, and other relevant contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform duties in the form of teaching, tutorials, practical, seminars, and research work, conscientiously and with dedication.
- Abide by the Act, Statute, and Ordinance, Rules & Regulations of the University and respect its ideals, vision, mission, cultural practices, and tradition.
- Cooperate and assist in carrying out the educational responsibilities of the schools and the university, such as assisting in appraising applications for admission, advising and counseling students, and assisting in the conduct of university and college examinations and evaluation.
- Assist in preparation of Session PPTs, pre-reads/reading material, video links, reference articles, case studies, additional curated content, numerical (if applicable), blogs, and reference news feed.
- Participate in administrative, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities as assigned by the Dean/Director/Pro-Vice Chancellor/Vice Chancellor.
- Maintain accurate records of students' academic standing; promptly provide final grades, attendance, and other information as required by administration.
- Create educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, term papers question bank preparation, etc.).
- Evaluate assignments and supervise PG projects submitted by students.
- Seek continuous professional growth through study and research.
- Maintain active membership of professional organizations and strive to improve education and the profession through them.
- Fulfill workload as per the stipulated University norms.
- Contribute to the development and revision of academic programs and courses.
- Stay updated with advancements in the teaching field and incorporate relevant content and teaching methodologies into courses.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to design new programs or improve existing ones.

Requirements- Skills & Competencies:
- Passionate about teaching with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust.
- Teaching experience and evidence of effective pedagogical approaches.

- Exhibit a responsible manner of conduct and demeanor.
- Professional attitude and great work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Requirements- Education & Work Experience:
- Preferred to have a Doctoral Degree Ph.D. or pursuing Ph.D. and/or Master's Degree in relevant disciplines (Information Systems, Marketing & Strategy, Operations & Supply Chain, Behavioral Sciences & Communication, HRM, Data Science & Analytics, Finance, Banking, Economics, Digital Marketing, Computer Sciences).
- Proven work experience of 5-10 years in teaching/research/significant professional experience as SME with visiting teaching/training exposure.
- Teaching experience in distance education will be an added advantage.
