Job Area: Finance & Accounting Group

Job Overview:

The Global Business and Finance Support (GBFS) team at Qualcomm provides support to HQ and global regional teams on Finance & Business Operation activities. This role requires the management of finance-related activities which include:

- Reporting activities using SAP, FP&A, Opex and reporting

- Product costing, Product Pricing, and system updates

- Software Billing

Individual Responsibilities:

- Ensure accurate and timely deliverables of transactional and analytical month-end processes

- Prepare cost center, inventories risk preparation, and scrap reporting

- Work closely with RF360 teams in Singapore, Wuxi, Munich for regular reviews, transition calls, and process documentation

- Support stakeholders with multiple reports including cost center and material cost reports, and intercompany purchase reports

- Update pricing data into the Price management system accurately and timely. Initiate and submit software billings based on contract milestones

- Ensure complete ownership and accountability for accurate and timely completion of activities

- Take evening and morning calls for reviews and transition activities, and work morning shifts during month-ends

- Perform additional ad hoc finance activities as required

Requirements:

- 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in finance FP&A activities

- Strong hands-on experience with the SAP tool

- Excellent advanced Excel skills with Macros (VBA) as an added advantage

- Ability to focus on details, multitask, and perform activities timely with quality output

- Planning and prioritization skills

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and up-skill with tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.

- Flexible for evening calls for HQ reviews and transition calls regularly

- Readiness to work morning shifts during month-ends for timely report preparation, reviews, and transition calls

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's in commerce and CA or Inter CA certification

- Master’s in Business Administration in Finance from a reputed B-school

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree

- 1+ year of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience

- Advanced degree in a relevant field can substitute for up to one year of work experience (Master's = one year)
