Senior Financial Analyst - ESG Reporting

Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for a regulation, jurisdiction, or governance around the ESG emerging trends, regulations, and disclosure requirements.

- Work and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment to ensure HP is compliant with country regulations.

- Partner with the organization to drive synergies and leverage for the best output from HP's perspective.

- Understand and interpret emerging regulations and convert them to definitive implementation plans.

- Work with the in-house data science and automation team to build and create models that allow better analytics for reporting.

- Continue to improve upon the existing codes and projects to adapt to the changing technology environment.

- Identify opportunities for enhancing the automation and digitization journey within controllership.

- Champion change and digital adoption within markets controllership.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant/finance professional with upwards of 10-12 years of experience.

- Deep Finance Domain knowledge in a large multinational industry is a must.

- Willingness to understand complex systems and processes within the company.

- Ability to work with and influence different levels of stakeholders within the organization with an established executive presence.

- Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines.

- Techno-functional capabilities such as awareness of using Power BI, RPA, etc., are an added advantage.

- Excellent analytical and leadership skills.

- Ability to connect the dots and conduct exploratory data analysis.

- Understanding and knowledge of audit and compliance requirements.

- Experience in adopting new technology and initiatives to transform or innovate accounting and compliance processes.

- Effective communicator with skills to sustain a work environment towards the accomplishment of organizational goals.

- Advanced skills in using SAP/S4 HANA.
