Job Title: Financial Analyst for Supply Chain
Description:
We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to support HP Service Supply Chain (SSC). In this dynamic and visible role, the analyst will act as the WW Print cost lead. The analyst will work with cross-functional stakeholders in Customer Support (CS) and across all Regions. The role requires working with SSC and CS teams on projects to analyze and optimize our service-driven spend. The ideal candidate will work independently through their own initiative and will excel at collaborating with employees at all organization levels. Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Finance teams, including Corporate FP&A, Business Unit Finance, and Functions Finance to ensure rigorous, timely, and consistent reporting of Service Supply Chain (SSC) financials.
- Partnering with Customer Support finance & category teams to help build consistent business cases and reporting of key initiatives.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to build our key management reporting and analytics processes and dashboards.
- Consulting with business leaders to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
- Leading and advising on complex business initiatives, typically leading several analysts across multiple areas within finance and across geographies.
- Driving process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function globally.
- Representing SSC during cross-regional or cross-functional planning & budgeting processes.
- Highlighting trends across key cost drivers and analyzing anomalies to identify root causes.
- Anticipating cost pressures and proactively recommending opportunities to drive efficiency.
- Mentoring and guiding other analysts.
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree with a focus in finance, business, or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA) strongly preferred.
- Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills, proficient with trending, variance analysis, and cost forecasting.
