Job Title: Accounting & Audit Services COE Director
Description:
The Accounting & Audit Services COE (CASR COE) is a part of the International Controllership Organization (ICO) team responsible for driving US & Local GAAP compliance through statutory reporting & audits, and ancillary communication within the entire entity structure in HP.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of managers and individual contributors to achieve timely statutory financial statements compliance deliverables across all entities.
- Champion the adoption of tools, solutions, and frameworks to enhance and improve the Statutory Compliance process.
- Lead the optimization, design, and transformation of the Statutory Compliance process by identifying areas for improvement, challenges, and creative solutions or automation opportunities to drive towards an end-to-end digital audit.
- Provide insight to controllers regarding the progress and quality of the statutory audit process and assist in resolving issues using technology and processes.
- Maintain stability through standardized work, manage exceptions, and problem-solving.
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive high engagement levels through challenging projects and expectations, coaching, skill development, and recognition. Manage teams and actively coach and develop team members.
- Define clear roles for team members and the organization.
- Clearly define SLA's with stakeholders.
Education & Experience Required:
- First level university degree with a focus on business or economics; advanced degree and/or accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA) strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in a finance function.
- 10+ years of experience as a people manager.
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting & audit procedures.
- Excellent project management and process development skills.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, including goal setting, conflict resolution, performance management, and evaluation.
Preferred Certifications:
- CA or CPA

- Superior ability to provide finance consultation to senior managers within the area of expertise.
- Superior understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent people management skills, including managing teams across geographies.
