Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the daily P&L production and analysis along with ensuring integrity of the Balance-Sheet of Global Credit Markets Portfolio.

- Managing Loans, Bonds, CLN/CDO, Impairment, and Securitisation products accounting and reporting.

- New deal review and revenue recognition in line with IFRS9 and IFRS15 accounting standards.

- Net Interest Margin analysis of banking book portfolios.

- Actively engaging with stakeholders across multiple functions and representing Product Control (PC) in various forums.

- Oversee and review BAU controls, reporting, and escalation processes.

- Production of periodic MI pack with commentaries.

- Establishing best practices across various PC processes, streamlining, and automation.

- Review of Key Control Indicators (KCI) and Control Sample Testing (CST).

- Support control and governance, external audits, and regulatory queries.

- Support new business initiatives and help execute management strategies.

- Lead project delivery and represent Product Control in project forums.

- Recruit, supervise, mentor, and nurture the team.

- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.

- Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles.

Skills and Experience:

- Knowledge of Financial Markets and Treasury.

- Strong command over IFRS9 and IFRS15.

- Ability to work under constant pressure to tight deadlines and deliver high-quality output.

- Analytical, innovative, and challenging mindset.

- Experience in managing banking book portfolios.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

- Educated to degree level; preferably CA/CFA/MBA in Finance.

- Minimum 10-12 years of experience, with at least 3 years in Product Control.
