You will help Team Everest stay as one of the top transparent nonprofits in the world.Your work will make sure our financial systems run smoothly, from statutory compliance to managing audits, while helping us do what we do best-inspire volunteering.If you enjoy managing processes, leading a team, and creating order in chaos, this role is perfect for you.What You Will Do Take full responsibility for accounts payable, including vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and vendor relationships.Ensure all payments comply with organizational policies and regulatory standards.Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, including statutory deductions like TDS, PF, ESI, and Professional Tax.Guide and manage the finance teammates to ensure smooth financial operations.Handle all income tax and FCRA matters, ensuring compliance and timely submissions.Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and support treasury functions.Lead audit processes, ensuring timely documentation and responses to observations.Manage organization expense cards, travel accounts, and related systems.Categorize expenses, tag them with projects, and prepare annual budgets. What We are Looking For?Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.Skills required for Job: Team Management: Strong managerial skills and should have managed a team before.Project Management: Good Project Management Skills to manage various projects in your department.Strong knowledge of statutory regulations like TDS, PF, ESI, and Professional Tax.Proficiency in any accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books) and advanced MS Excel skills.Experience with donor reporting and trust/society accounting is a plus.Knowledge of financial reporting, vendor management, and process improvement strategies.Ability to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.Strong command of English.Organizational Skills: You should know how to plan well and manage multiple tasks with a cool head.Work Ethic: You should be someone who loves to learn, works hard, and can do tasks independently & with a team.
