This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a vital role in supporting month-end activities, preparing and finalizing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, and managing intercompany recharges. A proactive approach to problem-solving, coupled with a strong foundation in accounting and finance, is key for success in this role.Key Responsibilities:Month-End Activities:Assist in preparing and posting journal entries for month-end close.Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely submission of financial data.Profit & Loss (P&L) Finalization:Assist in preparing and reviewing P&L statements for accuracy.Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.Provide variance analysis and insights to support decision-making.Intercompany Recharges:Prepare and process intercompany recharge entries.Reconcile intercompany balances across entities.Ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies and agreements.Reporting and Analysis:Support in preparing financial reports for management and stakeholders.Assist the commercial controller in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.Compliance & Documentation:Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.Support internal and external audit processes.Key Qualifications and Skills:Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.Key Skills:Financial Reporting and AnalysisMonth-End ClosingP&L FinalizationIntercompany AccountingERP Systems (e.g., SAP, Excel, or other financial tools)Budgeting and ForecastingStrong Analytical and Problem-Solving SkillsAttention to Detail and AccuracyPersonal Attributes:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of organization and ability to meet tight deadlines.Work Perks! - What's in it for you: FCTG is renowned internationally for having amazing perks and an even better culture.
