Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Preparation of profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Solid bookkeeping experience required with balance sheet finalization skills.
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and review of supporting documents.
- Coding general ledger (GL) transactions and reviewing accounts receivable/accounts payable (AR/AP) reports.
- Preparation of financial statements including profit and loss account, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and statement of financial position.
- Communication with clients regarding queries and resolving client queries independently.
- Preparation and lodging of Business Activity Statement (BAS) and GST returns.
Requirements
- CA (Inter) preferable.
- Experience of Australian accounting is an added advantage.
- B.Com / M.Com with solid accounting/bookkeeping experience.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of Xero/MYOB accounting software would be an added advantage.
- Comfortable in learning and working with new software.
