Job DescriptionPreparing/ Reviewing and analysis of Financial Statements & Taxation work in accordance with workflow & clients' needsBookkeeping, reconciliation of accounts, sales, purchases, fixed assetsPreparing and finalising books of accounts includes checking the authenticity of the transaction from the bank along with its supporting invoice or the receipts and passing of end-of-year journals.Preparation of P&L and balance sheet ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards(IFRS)Preparation, review, and filing of statuary monthly, quarterly and annual returns, including FBT, BAS, IAS, CTR, TPAR, STP, ITR, and Payroll Tax Returns & other ATO lodgement Obligations.Preparation of monthly Management and Analytic reports.Preparation of reconciliation statementsAssistance in the preparation and analysis of tax-related information.Preparation of tax effect accounting calculations.Preparation and auditing of work papers substantiating Financial Statement balances.Monthly reviews, and the generation of monthly reports and financial statements for clients.Processing accounts receivable (sales) / and accounts payable (bills).Ensuring jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines.Ensuring clients are made aware of their compliance obligations.RequirementsDesired Candidate ProfileCA Inter or Finalist with the minimum 3 years of experience of solid bookkeeping experienceAustralian Accounting & Tax experience is preferableXero experience would be advantageousProactive work ethicAnalytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilityGood English communication skills (written and verbal)Commitment to continued improvementHigh level of attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and deadlines
