Your work profile
As a Manager in our BPS Tax team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You will:
- Supervise a team of AM / Executives involved in maintenance of books of accounts in accounting software like Tally, SAP, or MS Navision.
- Independently manage clients and develop sound business relationships.
- Help the team in business development on the clients managed by the employee.
- Have hands-on experience in MS NAV/Tally/SAP.
- Prepare financial statements and audit schedules as per India GAAP.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and clients.
- Prepare and e-file VAT/Service tax and TDS returns.
- Process payroll and suggest ways to make the system efficient and introduce relevant controls.
- Prepare Monthly MIS and reconciliations.
- Stay updated with the latest amendments and keep the team informed.
- Introduce ideas of automation to streamline the processes and increase efficiency and control in bookkeeping and finance processing.
- Be a self-starter and a focused individual to take the service line forward.
Desired qualifications
- CA / ICWA with 6-8 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, TDS compliances, and Payroll.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Analytical skills and conceptual clarity.
- Eye for details and innovative thinking.
- Time and cost management skills
- Managing and leading a team.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
Location and way of working
- Base locations: Mumbai, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bangalore, Coimbatore.
- This profile involves frequent traveling to client locations.
