Position: Senior Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst
Location: Bangalore
The Senior AP Analyst will be responsible for validating AP invoice entry for US and EMEA companies within a global public manufacturing company. This position reports directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and validate a high volume of invoices on a daily basis.
- Assist the AP team with research and issue resolution on invoices and payments.
- Assist the AP team in maintaining supplier relationships with constant and timely communication.
- Assist the AP Supervisor with quarterly invoice and open PO accruals for US and EMEA companies.
- Maintain SOX controls as they relate to the AP function.
- Maintain professional customer service (both internal and external customers).
- Participate in ad hoc projects.
Qualifications / Skills:
- 4+ years of recent, constant Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma required; AA degree preferred.
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a very high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
- Knowledge of accounting fundamentals, including the 3-way match process and accrual accounting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Accustomed to working under and meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
- Technical understanding of ERP systems, Excel, and Word. Experience in Oracle EBS is a plus.
- Quick learner and self-starter with the ability to work independently and with the team currently in place.
