Job Title: Financial Analyst Intern
Summary:

Wadhwani AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health, agriculture, education, and urban development in underserved communities in the global south. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain financial transactions with accuracy, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Track expenses and identify any new expenditure patterns on a bi-weekly basis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance and assess potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide support for special projects and initiatives as required.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in finance and analytics.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed an MBA program with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations, with a demonstrated ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
