Finance

The Finance department, which manages the company's budgets, forecasts and investments, and provides analysis of our financial performance and strategies.

Job overview and responsibilities

This position is directly responsible for handling Accounts Payable division. The responsibilities include:

- Processing invoices and expense reports on time as per Company expense policy.

- Ensuring TDS and GST compliances at the invoice level.

- Preparing summary data for TDS and GST for return filing and other decision-making purposes.

- Handling local labor law and STPI monthly filings.

- Maintaining separate books of accounts (for all the stations of the Company) as per Indian Accounting norms and consolidation thereof.

- Ensuring accurate booking of financial data for informed decision making and providing accurate external financial guidance.

- Handling employee queries on expense reports.

- Reviewing, processing expense reports and liaise with the audit team in case any expense is in breach of company policy and local taxation.

- Handling AP and accounting in Tally ERP 9 with working knowledge of Oracle.

- Ensuring compliance with TDS, GST and local Labor laws.

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

Required:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related area

- 2+ years of accounting/finance experience

- Knowledge of Tally ERP 9

- Expertise in Income Tax, GST, PF and local labor laws

- Adaptability to workload and expertise in accounting principles

- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship

Preferred:

- MBA

- 4+ years of accounting/finance experience

- Experience with Tally ERP 9 and Oracle ERP
