OwlSurance Technologies (OST) , is a business unit of ValueMomentum Inc., that delivers cloud-based solutions to customers in P&C domain that includes Insurance carriers, MGAs, Program Administrators, etc. OST Professional Services group drives project delivery for a wide range of customers ranging from implementation of solutions leveraging ValueMomentum's Product and Platform offerings, modern commercial off the shelf products/platforms, as well as custom built solutions and services. The project teams in this unit work closely with multiple internal teams including Product Engineering teams to deliver solutions as per ValueMomentum's standards. Job Description: Insurance Business Analyst is a client facing critical role that will drive solution implementations leveraging core Business Analysis skills, deep domain, technical and functional understanding. Insurance Business Analyst will perform gap analysis and determine the data consumption pattern based on the customer needs. Insurance Business Analyst will engage with Insurance IT, Business teams and all the internal and external stakeholders. Key roles and responsibilities of Insurance Business Analyst: Engage with the customer to determine business requirements, work closely with internal stakeholders Comprehensive understanding of P&C Domain and Business Processes, Insurance Products and best practices Ability to elicit, comprehend, document, articulate all requirements using standard methods and translate them for Data foundation and Dashboards Ability to go through SOW and get a full understanding of the overall scope of implementation and identify the gaps, risks and challenges involved Ability to do functional testing of the solution, review QA artifacts Ability to trouble shoot and identify the issues quickly. Have an overall understanding of typical issues that occur while implementing products Skills and Experience 10 + years of relevant IT experience in the following areas, including 4+ years of experience in P&C domain Interpreting business need and ability to analyze and recommend the data foundation needs and visuals Excellent Knowledge of P&C Insurance domain (preferably Commercial Lines).
