Position: Intern - Consulting (SOX) - Staff

As a part of our Consulting Enterprise Risk team, you will engage in diverse assignments related to Internal Audit, Process Compliance and Reviews, SOX 404, and Enterprise Risk Management. This role offers an opportunity to adapt to our culture and contribute to developing innovative solutions across various industries, all while expanding your business network and transforming into a global professional.

The Opportunity:

This internship offers you the chance to connect with key team members and gain hands-on experience through actual engagements. You'll gain insights into complex business transactions and recommend solutions to address business challenges and process inefficiencies. Our team leverages emerging technologies like Robotics, AI, and Advanced Analytics to enhance internal audit and control solutions for our clients. By integrating into our market-leading global network, you'll develop the expertise needed to become an exceptional Risk Advisor.

Responsibilities:

Delivery:

- Attend trainings and pre-assessment sessions

- Perform tasks on near real client data

- Prepare process flows/narratives and risk & control matrices based on process discussions

- Identify process gaps and provide recommendations

- Conduct and/or review tests of design and operating effectiveness

- Document testing workpapers

- Update Seniors on the status of tested controls

- Meet quality guidelines within established turnaround times or allotted budgets

People:

- Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities for specific engagements

- Foster teamwork and innovation

- Utilize technology and tools to continually learn and enhance service delivery

Skills and Attributes:

- Intermediate proficiency in both written and spoken English

- Analytical, organized, and meticulous consulting skills

- Proficient in MS-Office Suite, data analysis, and validation

- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player

- Ability to prioritize deliverables effectively

Qualifications:

- Basic understanding of risk and controls, SOX, and COSO framework

- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, with additional studies in finance or risk management

- Intermediate proficiency in both written and spoken English
