A Senior Business Analyst in the insurance domain typically focuses on gathering and formalizing business requirements, coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities may include leading business analysis efforts for policy administration, developing ERP software, and providing guidance on insurance product propositions. Strong analytical skills, experience in project management , and a deep understanding of the insurance industry are essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:Requirements Gathering:Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements.Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather insights.Project Coordination:Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of projects.Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and adherence to budgets.Data Analysis:Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.Develop reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.Compliance and Standards:Ensure that all business processes comply with industry regulations and standards.Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations.Stakeholder Communication:Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams.Present findings and recommendations to senior management.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.Certifications:Relevant certifications such as CCBA, CBAP, or FLMI are preferred.Experience:Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the insurance sector.Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results.Desired Skills:Analytical Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools).Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information.Interpersonal Skills:Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders.About the Company: Headquartered in New Jersey, US, ValueMomentum is the largest standalone provider of IT Services and Solutions to Insurers.
