Job Title: Head of Finance / CFO

Description:

One of the leading brands in the Consumer/Healthcare sector, with a strong global presence, is seeking a qualified individual to lead the Finance & Accounts for its India business. This role involves managing end-to-end finance controllership, statutory audit requirements, quarterly results, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations.

- Provide leadership and coordination in Finance and Accounting, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts.

- Supervise the finance unit and act as the chief financial spokesperson for the organization.

- Oversee the entire accounting function and ensure timely accounting closures and preparation of financial statements as per IND AS and IFRS.

- Ensure financial controls, compliance, and governance within the organization.

- Monitor business fiscal performance through MIS and analytics, and drive course correction as needed.

- Report financial results to the board of directors and investors.

- Advise on the financial perspective, cash flows, and cost controls for new businesses and contracts.

- Manage Direct & Indirect tax planning and ensure adherence to statutory compliances.

- Develop and implement processes and controls to support business growth.

- Manage treasury operations and relationships with banks.

- Maintain full transparency over the financial performance of the company.

- Handle all shareholder reporting requirements.

- Formulate the company's future direction and support tactical initiatives.

- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.

- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile.

- Construct and monitor reliable control systems.

- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

- Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.

Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15-20 years of experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.

- Experience working in listed companies in FMCG/Consumer/Pharma/Chemicals or allied sectors.

- Strong executive presence and capability to engage with senior members of the board.

- Extensive experience in financial accounting, reporting, compliance, audit, and internal controls.
