Job Title: Head of Global Business Services Centre

Job Description:
The Head of Global Business Services Centre will play a key leadership role, responsible for the strategic management and oversight of a shared services center that supports various business functions in a global environment. The center is a multi-functional global hub providing Finance, HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Technology support to its entities globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and deliver service infrastructure services to the GBS team.
- Operational Excellence: Partner with peer leaders to guide and drive transformation initiatives and culture.
- Financial Management: Provide operational transparency to the business with standard scorecards and operational performance metrics, and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Talent Management: Identify and develop key talent, focus on critical competencies, and develop a team of professionals.
- Team Leadership: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and commitment to outstanding service through fact-based analysis and performance metrics.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to increase services and act as primary sponsor for related projects.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure strong collaboration across entities, regions, clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Client Relationship and Governance: Lead and ensure the success of transitions to GBS (within the global delivery network).
- Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee the maintenance of, and adherence to, internal controls within the shared service team.
- Performance Metrics: Be a proponent of employee engagement and a culture of the center.
- Change Management: Provide strategic direction to AMEA GBS objectives and build a solution-oriented team culture.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant
- 20+ years of overall experience, with at least 15 years managing 1000+ teams in a GBS or Multi-Process Shared Service Center environment.
- Experience within a progressive GBS, GCC, or business services operating model.
- Multi-function experience is essential (e.g., F&A, Supply Chain Management, IT, HR).
- Proven track record in building internal shared services that deliver global business services.
- Strong problem-solving and Lean Six Sigma skills.
- Experience as a change agent within the Shared Services area, with a record of successfully managing and completing organizational transformation projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, multifaceted collaboration, stakeholder management, and effective conflict management skills.
- Ability to contribute to Group strategy and make effective business decisions in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
- Understanding of business and system analysis, including root cause analysis and other process modeling and systems design methodologies.
