This open position is for Armanino India LLP, which is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino LLP (USA).
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and participate in month-end close process
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts consistent with GAAP
- Partner with FP&A to reconcile expense and revenue variances to budget and prior year
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and document variances
- Adhere to organizational procedures and policies
- Support the implementation and execution of key controls and processes
- Analyze, interpret, and understand financial data to ensure reported amounts are accurate
- Respond to information requests and assist with internal audits
- Prepare and provide financial and analytical information as required
- Identify opportunities to improve month-end close process, cost cutting initiatives and expense trend analysis
- Assist with identifying how to apply open items in the Cash Clearing account
- Special projects as assigned by Accounting Manager or Controller
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in accounting role
- Strong analytical and accounting skills
- Proficiency in Workday preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- High business ethics, team player, ambitious, smart, coachable, great communicator
- Ideal candidate will have career-focused goals, and the work ethic to make those goals a reality
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- CA or CPA candidate is desirable
