JR51909 Senior Financial Analyst

As the Senior Financial Analyst of Grants at Micron, you will manage, track, and execute government grants and incentives that have been awarded to Micron. This includes working with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the grants and incentives. You will also partner with various project owners to manage, track, and reconcile the grant forecasts for submission to the local government.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Support engagement with internal project owners and key stakeholders to execute the grant-supported projects and meet all grant commitments and resource requirements

- Identify, track, and report on the commitments for each grant-supported project

- Partner with project owners to drive accountability and compliance with these commitments for each project

- Highlight risks and/or areas of improvement to ensure compliance with commitments and maximize the grants

- Monitor project progress, review grant accruals, analyze project performance relative to the original forecast, and investigate and remedy any deviations from the plan

- Model the project costs and provide quarterly grant forecasts for budgeting and cash flow analysis

- Analyze business forecasts and scenarios to determine the financial impact on the grants and determine the optimal strategy to maximize grant utilization

- Support grant reviews with Global Operations, Finance Leadership, and project owners on the grant status as needed

- Partner with project owners to ensure cooperation and accountability in providing the information needed for timely and accurate grant accruals and forecasts

- Partner with the Grants Accounting team to accurately capture project expenses and accrue and submit the grant claims

- Identify opportunities and obtain government grants and funding support for new projects

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years in a finance analyst position in a manufacturing environment

- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Economics, or Finance preferred

- Familiarity with costing, accounting, and enterprise reporting systems

- Independent financial analytical ability

- Ability to provide decision support and recommendations, not just data
