Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst of Grants

As the Senior Financial Analyst of Grants at Micron, you will handle, track, and execute government grants and incentives awarded to Micron. This includes working with internal partners to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the grants and incentives. As a team, you will also partner with various project owners to manage, track, and reconcile the grant forecasts for submission to the local government.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support engagement with internal project owners and key partners to execute grant-supported projects and meet all grant commitments and resource requirements.
- Identify, track, and report on commitments for each grant-supported project.
- Partner with project owners to drive accountability and compliance to commitments for each project.
- Highlight risks and/or areas of improvement to ensure compliance to commitments and enhance the grants.
- Monitor project progress, review grant accruals, analyze project performance relative to the original forecast, and investigate and remedy any deviations to the plan.
- Model project costs and provide quarterly grant forecasts for budgeting and cashflow analysis.
- Analyze business forecasts and scenarios to determine the financial impact on the grants and develop optimal strategies to increase grant utilization.
- Support grant reviews with Global Operations, Finance Leadership, and project owners as needed.
- Partner with project owners to ensure timely and accurate grant accruals and forecasts.
- Collaborate with the Grants Accounting team to consolidate project expenses and submit grant claims.
- Identify opportunities and obtain government grants and funding support for new projects.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in a finance analyst position in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Economics, or Finance preferred
- Familiarity with costing, accounting, and enterprise reporting systems
- Independent financial analytical ability
- Ability to provide decision support and recommendations
