Job Title: Consulting - SOX - Staff
Role Overview:
As part of our Consulting Enterprise Risk team, our clients look for EY's expertise across consulting solutions, particularly for engagements related to Internal Audit, Process Compliance and Reviews, SOX 404, and Enterprise Risk Management. There is no average day in this role; each assignment presents multifaceted challenges and distinct business environments. You will have the opportunity to learn, adapt, and contribute to developing unique solutions.
The Opportunity:
This is an internship role in a rapidly growing practice where you'll build relationships with key team members and gain experience on projects based on actual engagements. You will gain a deeper understanding of complex business transactions, while recommending solutions to some of the most pressing business challenges and process inefficiencies. The team leverages emerging technologies like Robotics, AI, and Advanced Analytics to enhance various Internal Audit and internal control solutions being provided to clients, actively working to build multiple tools and assets for efficient and effective client delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery:
- Attend trainings, pre-assessment sessions, and perform execution on near real client data.
- Prepare process flows, narratives, and risk & control matrices based on process discussions.
- Identify process gaps, provide recommendations, conduct/review tests of design and operating effectiveness, and document testing workpapers.
- Provide regular status updates to Seniors on the controls tested.
- Meet quality guidelines within the established turnaround time for assigned requests.

Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of risk and controls, SOX, and COSO framework.
- Bachelor's in commerce, post-qualification in finance or risk management studies.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
