We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller based in India to support our European business. If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced team and make critical contributions to Pattern's success, this role could be a great fit.
Job Responsibilities
- Preparation of month-end journals, managing the close deadlines for Europe through a partnership with the Global Finance Team, including collation of schedules and reports to support monthly close entries.
- Providing solutions to streamline/speed up month-end close.
- Completion of annual independent financial and statutory audits.
- Providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts, and historical financials.
- Providing reporting and solutions for ad-hoc information requests.
- Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state regulations for financial and fiscal reporting.
- Supporting the Finance Director and working directly with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service; respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting-related activities, and utilize judgment to address or escalate issues as necessary.
- Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
Requirements and Skills
- ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA Qualified or equivalent
- 5-3 years public accounting experience
- Familiarity with US GAAP and European statutory reporting requirements
- Experience reviewing financial data & identifying errors
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
