Your day at NTT DATA
The Senior Associate Financial Accountant prepares more routine financial reports, processes journal entries, processes the accounting month end, and prepares balance sheet reconciliations. The primary objectives of this role are to report costs, productivity, margins, and expenditures, and offer financial recommendations. This role also assists with management and preparation of budgets.
What you'll be doing
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Implement, control, and monitor periodic compliance testing.
- Actively support the management of overall financial forecasting processes.
- Review financial records to ensure they comply with company policies and accounting principles.
- Undertake a regular review of the accuracy of regulatory calculations and submissions.
- Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate across various finance and non-finance functions.
- Analyze journals, produce data analysis and reports, and assist with variance analysis.
- Assemble the annual audit information for external auditors.
- Recommend process improvements for efficiency using automation.
- Analyze past performance financial data and prepare budgets and forecasts for business unit management.
- Implement effective financial controls, including systems reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures.
- Support accounts receivable activities within the assigned business unit.
- Process month-end activities, including preparation and processing of month-end journal entries, loan, and bank account entries, and reconciling accounts.
- Perform cash management activities and produce bank reconciliations for company bank accounts.
- Regularly review tax calculations and reports to ensure compliance.
- Review the credit vetting process to ensure new accounts comply with financial procedures.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or related
Required Experience:
- Moderate experience gained in a similar position
- Moderate experience working with accounting software
