Who we are looking for
This role is responsible for managing the US Voluntary/ Mandatory Processing and review. The team captures and processes voluntary and mandatory events in the US Market as part of our Corporate Action value stream. There is a high degree of risk associated with this position and risk management skills are critical. The role is based out of Hyderabad, Telangana and is responsible for the US market, but will work closely with our global teams/sites.

What you will be responsible for
- Monitor market corporate action/Income events against the portfolio for Equity, Fixed Income, Mutual/Unit Trust funds to ensure successful processing within accounting systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of Income processing, Interest processing, Tax liability of markets, and tax obligations on clients.
- Analyze, research, interpret, investigate, and process corporate action/Income/Interest terms and conditions according to established policies and procedures.
- Validate actions and prepare daily logs for tracking events.
- Communicate with internal and external parties to provide corporate action/Income information and relevant deadlines.
- Understand the pricing methodology of equity, fixed income, and Unit trust products.
- Analyze the impact of securities trading suspension, delisting, and adjustment factors that impact the overall fund portfolio.
- Daily reconciliation of positions entitled and entitlements with custody payments; understand the investigation and resolution of Income Payments on portfolios and Tax related to different markets.
- Research and resolve all breaks – substantiate the breaks by identifying the root causes and solving them ensuring no controllable breaks are outstanding on the funds.
- Monitor all corporate action/Income inflows of the events and publish updates to the team and management.
- Perform intra-day and end-of-day checks for the actions completed or pending and elevate any challenges according to established procedures to management.
- Assist in training new employees; act as a technical resource to the team.
- Work effectively as a team member but also independently managing assigned portfolios and establishing effective controls within the process.
- Work towards becoming proficient in all areas of the job, including understanding Income/Corporate actions, and having good working knowledge of the tax obligations of clients.
- Typically works with moderate guidance, accountable for individual results and impact on work group.
- Responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and reporting/escalating in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures.

- Knowledge of trade lifecycle of a securities transaction across custody and clearing houses.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income and Equity lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters for checking securities pricing, description, corporate action information, corporate news, etc.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry-recognized qualification
- 5-7 years’ experience in financial services with a minimum of 3 years of relevant Corporate Action/Fund Accounting/Income processing experience.
