We are seeking an experienced audit professional who understands risk and control and can manage the entire Audit execution life cycle. The ideal candidate should possess experience in the Banking, Financial Services, Accounting Operations, and Corporate Finance space. This role will be performed in a hybrid model, allowing for a balance of work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
- Overseeing audits and control consulting engagements using a risk-based audit methodology.
- Managing the audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of audits.
- Preparing reports and communicating findings and recommendations to line and senior management.
- Playing a major role in the Issue and Action Plan closure and management process.
- Supporting the Audit Senior Manager and supervising audit staff.
- Developing audit staff and completing performance evaluations.
- Ensuring reviews are completed in compliance with State Street Corporate Audit Methodology and Institute of Internal Auditor standards.
- Presenting results to line and senior management.
- Participating in various special projects.
- Facilitating effective communication and coordination with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Developing a thorough understanding of the Company’s operations and assisting in the adaptation of internal control principles.
- Maintaining current knowledge of audit industry practices and ensuring best practices are applied.
- Viewing control issues from the perspective of both the Audit Committee and Senior Management.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 10-12 years of audit experience in either Public Accounting or Internal Audit.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Professional audit certifications preferred; CA, CPA, CIA is a plus.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Mutual Funds, Institutional Investment, Private Wealth Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial & Business Controllership, Accounting Operations, Billing Operations, Regulatory Reporting, Corporate Strategy, Procurement, Third Party Risk Management, Corporate Tax, Investor Relations, SOX Program, Business & Financial Controls, and risk advisory industries.
- Demonstrated technical abilities in audit, accounting, reporting, regulatory, compliance, etc.
Additional requirements
- Travel up to 20% may be required.
