Job Description
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an individual with a good understanding of equities, fixed income, securities lending and borrowing business, and collateral management. This role demands constant interaction with multiple stakeholders, including the Trading Desk, Borrowers, and Internal teams.
Major responsibilities:
- Returns booking and exception monitoring of market loan and return transactions
- Ensuring daily collateral management
- Managing returns and emails
- Collateral Management Repricing
- Cash and Non-Cash specific processing

What you will be responsible for:
- Process high volume of international loans, Recall returns, Equilend & Non-Equilend Broker Returns daily
- Monitor and resolve pending and failing aged Returns
- Interact with traders, client management, fund groups, and counterparts regarding discrepancies
- Execute instructions to receive or deliver securities from counterparties
- Confirm end of day re-pricing and money movements with counterparts
- Review contract compare records and DDAs to validate positions with each counterparty
- Assist business area with inquiries pertaining to transactional activity
- Ensure timely resolution of counterparty issues including pricing problems, loan quantities, etc., while keeping management informed
- Identify and analyze operations risks and recommend procedural changes/improvements as needed

- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills

- Demonstrated computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Flexibility to work in US (6:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST) shift

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- University degree in Business majoring in Accounting, Finance, or other Financial-related programs
- Overall experience of 5+ years in Trade Settlements, Mark to Market, and Collateral Management (NA/EMEA markets) process
- Knowledge of Investment Banking, Agency/Principal Lending, Custodial Services, Financial Markets is a must
- Certifications like NSE Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM), NSE Certified Capital Market Professional (NCCMP), etc. will be an added advantage
- Project handling experience will be an added advantage
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Exposure to Equilend, MCH, and DTC applications
