Who we are looking for:

We are seeking an individual with experience in security lending, specifically in researching, tracking, and processing UK and International corporate actions. The role involves reconciliation and distribution of dividends and cash corporate actions, identifying position needs, submitting trade orders with brokerage intermediaries, and managing the risks associated with corporate actions.

What you will be responsible for:

- Reconciliation and distribution of dividends and cash corporate actions.

- Identifying and managing risks associated with corporate actions.

- Monitoring market corporate action events against the portfolio.

- Analyzing, researching, and interpreting corporate action terms and conditions according to established policies and procedures.

- Inputting corporate action blocks, restrictions, and trading comments on the Securities Finance system.

- Communicating with internal and external parties to provide corporate action information and relevant deadlines.

- Calculating entitlements based on corporate actions terms and conditions and processing the requisite adjustments and ensuing market transactions in a timely and accurate manner for securities borrowed and on loan.

- Researching and resolving all share-related discrepancies with the participating lending agent.

- Monitoring all corporate action share entitlements to ensure proper and timely collateralization.

- Communicating with trading and settlements groups to enforce policies and procedures to minimize corporate action issues.

- Reconciling pending/open borrowed and loaned positions with participating parties.

- Collecting requisite income from participating borrowers to pay the participating lending agents on market pay date.

- Tracking and monitoring potential issues and delays and responding to queries.

- Meeting agreed SLAs and KPIs, ensuring consistent quality in client delivery.

- Contributing to process improvement ideas and highlighting any potential process risks to managers.

- Timely escalation of material issues to Senior Management.

What we value:

These skills and attributes will help you succeed in this role:

- Knowledge of Securities Finance preferred.

- Understanding of global corporate actions in all markets and dividend-related trading.

- Familiarity with SunGard Global One experience preferable but not required.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and workflow in a fast-paced environment.

- Capability to identify areas of exposure and take necessary steps to protect Enhanced Custody, its clients, and the corporation.

- Customer-centric focus.

- Enthusiasm, keen interest in learning, and being part of a growing team.

- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, analytical, and prioritization skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced skills in MS Excel.

- Technical Skills – IT and Systems: DTCC, PIRUM, EQUILEND.

Shift Timing:

- 06:00 PM to 03:00 AM

Work Location:

- Mumbai

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

- University degree in Business majoring in Accounting, Finance, or other Financial-related programs.

- Overall experience of 5+ years in Dividends & Mandatory corporate actions.
