Responsibilities:

- Responsible for training new team members.

- Identify training needs in relation to new processes and products.

- Provide coverage for team members during vacations and illness.

- Assist management with the day-to-day operation of the team.

- Review operational procedures consistently.

- Support the team during corporate and external audits.

- Participate in special projects as required.

- Assist with all management reporting.

- Demonstrate competencies in own area and in general business principles.

- Work on practical tasks according to established procedures.

- Typically works with moderate guidance, accountable for individual results and impact on the workgroup.

- Identify any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and report/escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines.

- Deepen knowledge/skill in one area or broaden abilities over a variety of skills.

- Apply knowledge/skills to a variety of standard day-to-day activities; know when to refer to others; handle a variety of tasks within own area.

Business Unit Specific Skills:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

- 4-7 years of financial industry experience, preferably in Securities Lending, Asset Services, Fund Accounting, or Settlements.

- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

- Strong written/verbal communication skills.

- Proven time management skills.

- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

- Demonstrates potential for leadership.

Client & Business Orientation:

- Interpret client needs and work to meet those needs, offering assistance and advice on standard practical issues.

- Understand the key business practices relating to own area and use this knowledge to focus and improve own work.

- Identify the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations; generate possible solutions, assess each using standard procedures, and make sound decisions.

Working Relationships:

- Probes and listens carefully, presents information clearly and in an appropriate style, makes technical information clear, persuades others in straightforward situations.

- Contributes actively in team activities, sharing experience and ideas.

- Builds useful working relationships outside own area.
