Job Title: Revenue Management Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a Revenue Management Specialist with deep knowledge of the Asset (Investment) Management industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling end-to-end Revenue Management Cycle processes, handling billing functions with minimum supervision, and ensuring all tasks are completed with 100% accuracy and according to SLA.
Responsibilities:
- Quickly understand and self-learn the company’s entire Revenue Management Cycle, including client account setup, maintenance, monthly accrual, true-up, client invoicing, and accounts receivable.
- Handle billing functions independently, particularly critical billing tasks/special projects, adhering to strict deadlines and quality checks.
- Initiate and execute process improvements, identify re-engineering opportunities for enhanced efficiency, and ensure all work items comply with agreed SLAs.
- Plan and coordinate non-standard activities and assist in the oversight of written procedures.
- Handle client inquiries with timely responses and ensure accurate first-time invoice correctness.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports.
- Escalate issues promptly to the appropriate level to avoid adverse business impacts.
- Highlight gaps in the process and implement adequate controls.
Client Relations:
- Establish strong relationships with Client Onboarding, Client Service Officers, and Relationship Managers teams.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external clients.
- Monitor exceptions and ensure timely resolution.
People:
- Provide feedback and suggest improvements to managers concerning team performance.
- Collaborate with the Training Team to identify and fulfill the training needs of team members.
Key Skills Required:
- Domain knowledge of the Asset (Investment) Management industry.
- Proficiency in accounting, especially revenue recognition.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience & Education:
- Total work experience of 7 to 9 years.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- MBA in Finance or Bachelor's degree in Commerce preferred.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Strong client focus and business delivery mindset.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and industry deadlines.
- Effective stakeholder management skills.
