Job Title: Associate 2 - Financial Statements Preparation

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the job is to provide end-to-end support to investment company clients for the timely completion of the preparation of financial statements, portfolio schedules, and associated mandatory reporting within stringent deadlines. This includes preparing for audit/review and successful submission to the regulators. Selected candidates should be able to work shifts that allow reasonable overlap with US, APAC, and EMEA hours to facilitate training, on-the-job practice, feedback, etc.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare client financial statements, NQs, Form N-MFP, or other similar forms/activities.

- Clear comments and assist with draft and support distribution to clients and auditors, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and within the agreed timeframes.

- Perform line-by-line checks and foot the typeset documents.

- Assist in the coordination of comments with the printer.

- Prepare, self-review, and deliver applicable services.

- Meet all deadlines, manage time effectively, and escalate any issues to the Senior Associate or Officer responsible.

- Accurately complete and sign off on all SOPs and checklists.

- Effectively use automation and technology.

- Volunteer for ad-hoc projects and help with last-minute requests.

- Provide on-the-job training and ensure coverage for activities.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Economics with specialization in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.

- Demonstrated computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.), as well as problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

- 1-3 years of experience in a related accounting or finance field preferred.
