Job Title: Senior Associate - Fund Financial Reporting

The purpose of the job is to provide end-to-end support to investment company clients for the timely completion of financial statements within stringent deadlines for audit/client review. Selected candidates will be required to work shifts that allow reasonable overlap with US and EMEA hours to facilitate training, on-the-job practice, and feedback.

What you will be responsible for:

As Senior Associate, you will:

- Prepare and perform 1st level reviews on private equity and hedge fund financial statements in accordance with relevant GAAP and regulatory requirements.

- Assist with drafting and supporting distribution to client and auditors, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff and give performance feedback to the manager.

- Manage risk by ensuring staff understand all Standard Operating Procedures, Key Controls, and Client Specific Procedures/Checklists.

- Estimate personnel needs, assign work, oversee short-term deliverables, coordinate workflow, maintain knowledge of the process operating model and assist with operational changes.

- Ensure the team achieves accuracy and meets pre-determined deadlines.

- Implement standard practices, processes, tools, and technology enhancements.

- Effectively use automation and recommend current system enhancements.

- Participate in research and resolve client issues.

- Volunteer for ad-hoc projects and assist with last-minute requests.

- Resolve issues and prioritize actions in the absence of the direct manager.

- Coordinate activities between multiple departments, including global offshoring partners.

- Maintain task lists for offshoring partners, ensure all supporting documentation is available, and act as the primary contact to answer their questions and issues.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s degree in commerce/economics with a specialization in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent experience is preferred.

- CA / CPA / ACCA or similar professional qualification preferred.

- Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS.

- 2+ years to 4+ years of experience in Fund Financial Reporting/accounting or finance field preferred.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, including excellent time management skills.
