Job Title: Senior Associate, Fund Financial Reporting
Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a Senior Associate to provide end-to-end support to investment company clients for the timely preparation of financial statements, portfolio schedules, and mandatory reporting within stringent deadlines for audit/review and successful submission to regulators. The selected candidate will work in shifts that overlap with US, APAC, and EMEA hours to facilitate training, on-the-job practice, feedback, etc.

What You Will Be Responsible For:
As a Senior Associate, you will:
- Prepare and perform 1st level reviews on client financial statements, NQs, Form N-MFP, and other similar forms/activities, clearing comments, and assisting with draft and support distribution to clients and auditors.
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching to staff, and performance feedback to managers.
- Manage risk by ensuring the team understands all Standard Operating Procedures, Key Controls, and Client Specific Procedures/Checklists.
- Estimate personnel needs, assign work, oversee short-term deliverables, coordinate workflow, and maintain knowledge of the overall process operating model.
- Implement standard practices, processes, tools, and technology enhancements.
- Use automation effectively and recommend current system enhancements.
- Participate in the research and resolution of client issues.
- Volunteer for ad-hoc projects and handle last-minute requests.
- Resolve issues and prioritize actions in the absence of the direct manager.
- Coordinate activities between multiple departments, including global offshoring partners.
- Draft and update task lists for offshoring partners and act as the primary contact.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Economics, specializing in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Professional qualifications like CA/CPA/ACCA preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS.
Additional Requirements:

- Leadership abilities within a team and among peers.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, including excellent time management skills.
- 2+ years to 4+ years of experience in Fund Financial Reporting, Accounting, or the Finance field preferred.
