State Street Corporation is seeking an Officer join the Regulatory Reporting Governance (RRG) team. The RRG team is responsible for the governance and oversight over regulatory reporting. Some of the key responsibilities for the RRG team include: create process documentation, set policies and guidelines over key controls, monitor and communicate regulatory reporting policy updates and other changes, provide regulatory reporting focused training, report issues and performance metrics to senior management, and other ad hoc regulatory reporting projects. This position will provide visibility to regulatory reporting and beyond, since the RRG team works with numerous functions with State Street Corporation to enhance oversight and governance around end-to-end regulatory reporting processes.Main responsibilities will include:Establish and implement governance frameworkReview workpapers, mentor and coach junior members of teamCreation of training materials on regulatory reportsStay up to date with changes in regulatory requirements and assist implementing themLead issue management, track remediations and present it to senior leadershipAssist reporting teams in maintaining controls and governance activitiesLiaise and manage Stakeholders outside and inside the team. Acts as senior contact for queries/ concerns received from stakeholdersLead internal audits, team meetings and perform and/or manage various ad-hoc projects and procedures as necessaryAssist in compiling performance metrics as part of the regulatory reporting scorecard frameworkTroubleshoot and improvise plan of action for any challengesIdentify areas of improvement and lead projects along with team membersQualifications:10+ years working experience in accounting or regulatory reporting functions in a financial institutionExternal Fed reporting experience a plusMBA/CA/CPA is a plusStrong written, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to liaise with and influence senior subject matter expertsMust have strong organizational skillsMust demonstrate sense of ownership and accountability for workAbility to multiple task and work within tight deadlinesWorks collaboratively, and builds effective working relationships & promotes teamworkStrong interpersonal, quantitative and analytical skills and a high proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPointEnd Date: December 31, 2024 For further information, and to apply, please visit our website via the “Apply” button below.
