Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Description:

The Business Analyst works with consultants and managers in the US to manage projects related to data extraction, verification, and reconciliation. This role involves working on large client databases, developing required procedures, performing quality reviews on other tasks, and managing project communications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

People:

- Create a positive team experience.

- Attend and actively participate in meetings, offering ideas, insights, and recommendations towards process improvements to enhance team efficiency.

- Communicate with US counterparts to address queries and provide project status updates.

Client:

- Respond to clients, including both external clients and US/India liaisons.

- Prepare reports as per the consultants' requirements.

- Ensure adherence to the Service Line Agreement at all times.

- Ensure the delivery of quality work by adhering to Quality Assurance & control measures.

Value:

- Work on projects related to data importing, cleansing, transforming, validating, or modeling data.

- Write Database Queries in SQL Server.

- Reconcile values from different data sources.

- Develop an understanding of Ryan's service offerings.

- Work under minimum supervision post-training and comply with established procedures.

- Perform quality assurance as required.

- Complete tasks assigned by Management with a sense of urgency and confidentiality where needed.

Education and Experience:

- Any master’s or bachelor’s degree

- 2-4 years of experience in SQL Server and Java

Computer Skills:

- Basic understanding of tax and accounting concepts

- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

- High attention to detail

- Ability to meet strict deadlines

- Good communication skills

- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, Internet navigation and research

- Basic knowledge of SQL queries and databases

Certificates and Licenses:

- A valid driver's license is required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

- Standard indoor working environment

- Occasional long periods of sitting while working at a computer

- Regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm

- Interface with external vendors as necessary

- Independent travel requirement: less than 10%
