To meet our challenges, we are looking for a Treasury Back Office Analyst to join the Treasury team! This position will be located in Mumbai.

Job Description

To support the Shared Service Centre in India, we are recruiting a Back Office Analyst. Back-office missions encompass the entire perimeter of instruments and underlying currently or historically used by the Group on Financial Markets such as FX, Commodities (mainly cereals), Energy, and Interest Rates.

Reporting hierarchically to the India Treasury Manager and operationally to the Group Back-office Manager, the position aims at ensuring the accuracy of all new entries in the Front to Back system and managing the technical and administrative tasks related to the dealing of financial derivatives for the group.

Responsibilities:

- Portfolio Reconciliation:

- In charge of the daily reconciliation of financial derivatives transactions captured in the Front to Back system.

- Check and verify deals done by the front office team on a daily basis for OTC and listed products, reconciliation and sending confirmations.

- Validate and report positions/portfolios across all categories.

- Perform reconciliations with internal and external counterparties, including trade characteristics, market coherence, and portfolio allocation.

- Trade Confirmation and Transaction Settlement:

- Production and communication of internal transactions confirmation and validation of external ones.

- Production and communication of internal transactions settlement (invoicing) and validation of external ones.

- Reporting & Compliance:

- Prepare daily reporting to Management regarding Financial Market activities.

- Prepare reporting to local stakeholders (e.g., RF Raw material purchasing team).

- Prepare daily regulatory reporting provided to external bodies (e.g., EMIR).

- Work with statutory auditors for interim and end-of-year audit processes.

- Work with the team on projects to update internal systems and processes.

- Perform daily valuation (MTM) of each alive financial derivative.

Qualifications:

- Experience in financial market transactions (FX, commodities, etc.).

- Ability to understand financial market operations and processes.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

- Graduate/Post-graduate in any domain with a minimum of 5 years experience in back-office working.

- MNC/Shared service experience preferred.

- Knowledge of VBA and financial market tools such as Bloomberg.

- Working knowledge of French can be an advantage.

- Advanced Excel skills.
